Bank Indonesia projected that, during the month of "Ramadhan" until the celebration of the "Idul Fitri," the demand for banknotes and coins will increase. Numbers through the numbers of Rp50 trillion, an increase of 17 percent from a year earlier.

Projections increased by around Rp7 trillion, up 17 percent from the previous year which reached Rp42, 5 billion.
BI prepare a large fraction (nominal money above 10,000) amounted to Rp44 trillion and a small fraction (nominal money under 10,000) as many Rp5, 5 trillion.
According to Ery, increased demand for these funds are motivated by the tradition of the people who draw large amounts of cash during the month of Ramadan, especially ahead of the Idul Fitri.
"We are optimistic about Rp 50 trillion this requirement can be met because of our insufficient funds. The banks also have been from a month ago to take huge amounts of money.
